How to Calculate JNTUH CGPA from SGPA
Under JNTUH Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) regulations, Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) is calculated using the credit-weighted ratio of total earned grade points to total registered credits:
- Enter Semester SGPAs: Enter your SGPA for each completed semester (e.g. 7.80, 8.20).
- Verify Credits: Confirm the credit load matches your program mark sheet (default AICTE engineering credits are pre-populated).
- Calculate Cumulative CGPA: The calculator multiplies each semester's SGPA by its credits, sums the results, and divides by total cumulative credits.
- Calculate Percentage: The result is automatically converted using the verified JNTUH formula:
Percentage = (CGPA - 0.5) × 10.
